Aircraft Intercom Pilots

I was asked to write a paragraph about a personal experience, could someone critique it for me please?

It didn’t seem real to me, being sent to war, that is until my company was about to land in Kuwait. ”ATTENTION, ATTENTION” demanded the pilot over the planes intercom. “Prepare for evasive maneuvers, we are scanning the ground for incoming missiles” he stated. That’s when it hit me. I was on my way to a war zone and it was deadly real. I panicked, Quietly, to myself. I clutched the armrest of my chair as I wondered what were the evasive capabilities of a C-5 Galaxy, one of the largest military aircraft in the world. What were the last things my family and I had discussed. Did I tell my mother I loved her? The plane jerked violently. I closed my eyes. I was struck by reality.

Have you heard this one before?

As a flight had just reached cruising speed & altitude, the pilot came on the intercom & announced that it was safe to move freely about the plane. He hung up the microphone, but he forgot to turn off the switch. He stretches & tells the co-pilot, "Well, I think I'll go take a s**t & then f**k the stewardess." This comment is heard all over the aircraft, & the stewardess starts running to the cabin to tell him to turn off the intercom. She gets about 1/2 the way there, trips & falls right next to a little old lady who tells her, "There's no sense in running honey -- he said he was going to take a s**t 1st!"

On the same flight.....and the same airline....

It was mealtime during a flight on a British Airways plane: "Would you like dinner?" the flight attendant asked the man seated in the front row. "What are my choices?" the man asked. "Yes or no," she replied.

A flight attendant was stationed at the departure gate to check tickets. As a man approached, she extended her hand for the ticket and he opened his trench coat and flashed her. Without blinking an eyelid she said, "Sir, I need to see your ticket not your stub."
