Does anybody have any experience in Petroleum Laboratory Specialist (92L) MOS in the Army?

Can this MOS be stationed everywhere or just certain places?
Will it be hard to get into this MOS?
And any other input on this MOS, would be good.

Also, is it true that the army is going to combine 15Q (air traffic controller) and 15P (aviation operation specialist) together?

And combine a 25F (Network Switching Systems Operator) and 25N (Nodal Network Systems Operator) together?

And if they will combine those MOS's together, Why?

Wow,that's a tough one.

Where should I go? Medicine career or Aviation/Pilot career? Anyone here can help me decide?

Hi guys, I'm Mark 21-years-old from Philippines.

Since I was a kid, I really wanted to become a pilot that's why I came here in this site to seek some advice. Last year (2009), I finished my 4-year degree in college here in the Philippines which is BS Medical Technology (commonly known as Medical Laboratory Science in US) and now I'm confused because I don't know what to do or the next step to be taken. Should I continue to Medical School or better go to Flying School.

Criteria of choosing:
1. Cost
2. Duration of schooling/training until you get hired
3. Salary

If you look at every airplane that you hear flying overhead, spend hours online learning about airplanes and aviation, and generally have "the disease", you will need to fly to be happy.

If you have a burning desire to fly, and can't wait to learn, and will do anything (legal) to fly, you have the ability to withstand the inevitable ups and downs of aviation.

Another question is where you will be happiest and most satisfied. You will spend a huge part of your life in your chosen career, so it must be something you love to do.

If you choose to be a pilot but really love medicine, you'll be miserable, and vice versa. Also, it is extremely difficult to excel at something you don't truly love.

If you want to fly, but don't have the itch to be a professional pilot, you can finish your MD training, then fly for pleasure..
