ibanez GRG guitars are great iv got one myself idnot knoe the exact model though i think the guitar your talking about might be a gibson explorer

Who made the weezer sign custom guitar?

There were some promo pictures taken during the green album era with the band holding a flying V style guitar with a =w= headstock. Who made it, and where can I find more information about it?

I found this info on the Weezer website (they've got a very extensive equipment section):

The "=w=" headstocked black flying V guitar seen in some Green Album publicity photos is a cheap copy that a woodworker modified for the photo shoot. It actually didnt even play at first, but Rivers asked Bobby Schneck to make it go, and it was fixed up to be a fair sounding guitar, but not a great one. Apparently its just too cheaply made to really rock, but is a very cool looking guitar, anyway.
