Want to build an experimental aircraft, looking for blueprints to go off of.?

Want to build an acrobatic experimental aircraft and i'm looking for blueprints to go off of to build it. Need some help. I'm an apache mechanic for the army so the building won't be an issue, i understand aircraft its finding plans that seems to be the issue. Thanks.

There are many, many designs out there.

KitPlanes magazine compiles annual directories. Go to their website. December was the kitplanes directory, January the plans built, Feb is the Rotocraft issue. march likely the experimental engines issue. Buy the backissues off the website if you can't find them on the newstand.

they also allow you to sign onto a database on the website for a fee. I like the directories much better though.

Materials vary from tube and fabric to wood to composite to all metal. Lots of skills are needed, even for a trained mechanic.

best place to sell hangar & partially built aircraft?

Recently inherited property including 1 bedroom cabin and large hangar on airstrip in N. GA. Where is the best place to advertise this for sale?

Also, 4 homebuilt/experimental aircraft in various stages of construction/restoration, none air worthy, and tools of the trade including items for old style fabric & dope coverings.

We plan to use Trade-a-plane and Barnstormers. Anything else we should try?

Oh wow, Craig's list. I work for a company that cleans and services aircraft, and this web site has helped us purchase and sell equipment. Plus you get a wider market, nothing against Trade-A-Plane and Barnstormers, but you get a smaller "view" (usually A/C owners) good luck
