Headset Radio Pilot

How should i record radio transmissions?

I would like to know what you guys use for recording the talk that goes on through the headset, to capture both the talk between pilot/passenger and between other aircraft/atc etc etc. so i can add it to a video that is recording flight. any suggestions? links to product? cheap is good

I'm not sure what you're actually trying to do.
You could simply plug into the microphone input on the camera and plug the other end directly into the headphone jack of the aircraft.
That would eliminate the extra step of adding the audio to the video.

Depending on the type of camera, you'll probably need and adapter.

I have a hot-shoe microphone adapter for my camera and got an adapter at Radio Shack that fits the audio port of the intercom system.

Or, if you have a separate audio recorder, you just need a stereo headphone adapter. The audio port of the airplane's intercom system is the same as the larger headphone jack of a stereo. (1/4 inch)
