High Club Cuff

I'm really scared.?
I have to have surgery on my rotator cuff, the subscapularis tendon, b/c i partially tore it. ive done the physical therapy and it didnt help. i know its ridiculous to feel bad for myself, but i think about it sometimes and i am so upset b/c i have to miss my entire club and junior high school season of volleyball. how long will it take for me to get over myself and suck it up? how can i not be mad to my friend for passing me up in volleyball? why do i have a grudge and why dont i get over it?
i will be a junior in high school next year.
im 5'10'' if that helps any....
I completely feel for you. The summer before my sophomore year I hyper-extended my knee, and was out for about half the season. Not too bad, except that I was supposed to be moved up to varsity that season.
I totally understand the bitterness you feel--it's because you are so passionate about playing. Just remember that even though you are out for the season, it doesn't mean that you should just sit back and do nothing. Use this time to get into top shape--do lots of sit-ups, go for runs, if you can. Make sure that when you are able to get back on the court, that you are in the best shape you can be, so that you aren't wasting your senior season playing catch-up. Also, you are still a member of your high school and club teams. Still go to every practice, watch all of the drills, and listen to everything the coaches have to say. You may actually come out on top after wards, because you will be able to pay attention to the details of the game.
I wish you the best of luck. And don't worry, things will get better. Just try to stay positive.

Rotator Cuff $71.7 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles In anatomy, the rotator cuff or rotor cuff is the group of muscles and their tendons that act to stabilize the shoulder. The four muscles of the rotator cuff, along with the teres major and the deltoid, make up the six scapulohumeral (those that connect to the humerus and scapula and act on the glenohumeral joint) muscles of the human body. The rotator cuff muscles are important in shoulder movements and in maintaining glenohumeral joint (shoulder joint) stability. These muscles arise from the scapula and connect to the head of the humerus, forming a cuff at the shoulder joint. They hold the head of the humerus in the small and shallow glenoid fossa of the scapula. The glenohumeral joint has been analogously described as a golf ball (head of the humerus) sitting on a golf tee (glenoid fossa). Will javelin help me get into Upenn?
I'm hoping that throwing javelin will be my ticket into Upenn since my grades are not exactly up to par.
im not that far off.. my sat math was close with 690 and SAT II are both gunna be high 700s .. my gpa out of 4 is 3.9 with a class rank in top 10%
i play football, wrestling and track all varsity, im in numerous clubs blahblahblah
but since thats probably not enough.. how far do u think ill have to throw the javelin in my senior year to be let in for track&field?
last year i threw 163.. not great but i was still going to rehab for a messed up rotator cuff
will 180+ be sufficient or am i going to need alot more work?
I think because it is an Ivy League school, academics will be counted a more heavily but it can be counted as an extracurricular or it can show dedication to something. Your GPA looks good and its good you are in lots of clubs. I say you have a good chance.
