are 20-30ml syringes available in physical shops (UK), or just the net?

i'm trying to source 2 x 20ml+ syringes as part of a budget DIY bleed kit for some hydraulic brakes. whilst they're available on the net, the delivery prices are about the same as the parts themselves so i'm looking local. i'd guess it's too large a volume for chemists or the needle exchange, and haven't had any luck in the local pet shop - would there be scope in asking at the GPs? sure i've seen syringes around in the past, but can't for the life of me remember where..

a chest drain kit would be best, this contains a three way tap and a suitable size syringe, this would allow you to bleed brakes without pumping the pedal, and you would not have to dis-connect the syringe when full, just turn the tap, push the plunger, turn the tap back, pull the plunger, all the waste fluid is collected in a 2 litre bag. this may prove a bit expensive, a cheaper option would be to buy just the taps, syringes and what is known as bubble tubing. the diameter of the tubing varies, depending where on the bubble it is cut, this way the tube will fit bleed nipples, syringes and taps ect. large high street pharmacies may stock stuff that could help you. failing that, find a hospital nurse that needs her car fixing and do a deal. best, and cheapest bet in the long run is a medical supply firm.
