I'm getting A's and B+'s in middle school do you think i can get in the Naval Academy and be a Naval Aviator?

i have dreamed of being a fighter pilot since i could think its in my blood my dad was co-pilot for the A-6E Moonlighters and the F/A-18D Green Knights and I'm interested in aeronautics engineering that's what i want to get a degree in

If you're getting anything other than straight A's, it won't cut it I'm afraid. To get into the Naval Academy on scholastic merit, your GPA (on a scale of 1 to 4, 4 being the highest) would need to be on the order of a 3.85 or higher (that's a 96.25% or straight "A" average) and you'll need to write a minimum of 1100 combined (650 verbal, 650 math) on your SAT's. The good thing is that you say your are still in middle school, so you have time to turn it around. Get your grades up as high as you possibly can get them and then keep them there for the entire time you're in high school. I didn't mean to suggest you don't have a chance, ...just that your grades as they stand (which are very good, by the way) won't be good enough. Don't give up your dream, ...keep charging after it and don't let anyone or anything stand in your way.
