tomtom question - sat nav?

i have just bought a tomtom and new to all of this sat nav. i am trying to connect my mobile with the tomtom but am a bit clueless on how it works. i believe it is communicating with the mobile both through bluetooth and wireless data. do my network providers charge me for using this facility?

its really good you can talk and make call on the tom tom but it charges for making the call normallly as in you normal bill and its leagal because you not holding the phone

sat nav problems?

Can any one tell me please ive got a sat nav it was working fine until i switched it on . Then it had on the screen no navigation software, what does this mean. I have a 2 gb meomery card so this should have enought meomery to store enough data. Or will i need another meomery card, thanks.

Have you installed the latest software, ie the various road maps... If you have not, and there is no data on the sat nav system then it has nothing in order to give you directions.
I have idea about this sort of thing though.
