After Basic in the Navy, how long is A school for Naval Aviation?

I'm not sure if I'm asking the right question.... after basic training my husband will be sent to A school for his career I believe and I am wondering how long the school will be because I will get to go live where he is at if his schooling is longer than 6 months.

Like "Bob M" said, what is his exact Aviation Rating? There are ABF, ABH, AC, AD, AE, AG, AM, AN, AO, AS, AT, AW, AND AZ (I think that is all of them).

Can you get laser eye surgery in NROTC? And then qualify for Naval Aviation or Spec. Ops?

If you have vision worse than 20/200 (worst possible uncorrected for SEALs), can you get the surgery in NROTC and qualify for BUD/S, if you are down to 20/20?

Please give me a source or why you are qualified to answer.

Yes, you can pay for PRK, not lasik, just prk. yourself and qualify for the seals.

Not for naval aviation though.

But naval aviation will probally follow in the next year or two.

The Air Force just completed a study on prk and lasik warlier this year and since may 2007, pilot candiates in the AF are allowed to have had prk or lasik eye surgery.
