is there a graphics card that i can get that is PCMCIA.?

i want to get a better graphics card from my laptop which is an dell inspiron 1525 with a gig of memory and 120 hard drive running windows vista. please help

Sorry but there is NONE. The PCMCIA footprint/space is too small to fit in a graphics card circuit board. The PCMCIA interface is also SLOW for graphics acceleration.

The new Express card slot is a faster interface but could not also accommodate a graphics card. The slot can be used to connect the Asus XG Station that houses a real graphics card but it requires a separate monitor.

There are also NO retail internal graphics cards for laptops because most have no expansion option and space at all.

sometime ago when was possible to enter on safe mode, on device manager appeared a problem with the usb ports, after that cannot recognice any pcmcia card or ani memory card.
already fromatted, replace hard disk, still doing the same.

before you reload, try to find software to wipe your hard drive so you really are starting FRESH.

I use WipeDrive PRO (www.whitecanyon.com) but I am sure there is something free out there.

If you don't start fresh you will wind up in the same boat in a few weeks.

After you do this, down load SpyBot for free from www.freedownloads.com and don't forget your antivirus.

If this doesn't help, then it could be a faulty or corrupt hard drive. WipeDrive will help you determine that.
