Users Manual Installation
can i still install windows in my EEE 4g pc?
the user manual asked for a dvd rom but i only have a cd rom drive. my windows xp sp2 is also burned in a cd, an am planning to burn the drivers in a cd...
basically i have these:
1. external cd-rom drive
2. windows xp sp2 installation CD
3. eee 4g pc (of course)
4. orig driver dvd (which i would burn on a cd if it fit..)
my question is, can the drivers fit in a cd?
or its that big thats why it was burned in a dvd?
and my next question is, will it produce any errorsif it was burned in a cd?
i dont want to spend money to change my os (which is now ubuntu and im not happy with the program limitations)
ubuntu doesnt support dreamworks or fireworks or other programs i need and prefer.Its too limited.
pls understand my question.

Indexing across multiple books in MS Word - can it be done?
I have a set of manuals (installation guide, user guide, reference guide, operator guide, etc) for a piece of software. All of these manuals are indexed. No problem doing that.
However, each index only refers to the book it is in. What I would really like to do is to have each index referring to every one of the books. To give an example, I'd like the index entry 'software installation' to appear in every one of the books, referencing 'Pages 1-5' when it appears in the Installation Guide, and referencing 'Installation Guide, pages 1-5' when it appears in every other book.
Is there a way of doing this? Any hints or tips greatly appreciated.

Incidentally, my version of Word is 2007, but I also have access to previous versions.
There is a feature of MS-Word called "Master Document", which allows several Word documents to be combined as if it were a single file. A master document contains links to a set of related sub-documents. Use a master document to organize and maintain a long document by dividing it into smaller, more manageable sub-documents. And then you can specify a table of contents, an index, table of figures, etc. as one large single file.
