The AT38B Aggressor Northrop was one of the variants of the Northrop T38 Talon the worlds first and most produced supersonic trainer. The T38 is still in service at present time with the Air Forces. The AT38B Aggressor Northrop aircraft has a conventional configuration and it has a small low long chord wing a single vertical stabilizer and a tricycle undercarriage. The T38 first flew in 1959 and there were more than 1100 Talon aircrafts delivered to the Air Force from 1961 to 1972. The AT38B Aggressor Northrop was used by the Air Educational and Training Command to prepare pilots for front line fighter and bomber aircraft such as the F15E Strike Eagle F15C Eagle F16 Fighting Falcon B1B Lancer A10 Warthog and F/A22 Raptor. It is an ability of some aircraft like the F35B to take off from a short runway or take off verticalyy if it doesn t have a very heavy payload and land vertically.
