I want a 4.0 L 6 cylinder engine to replace my 4 cylinder in my Jeep Wrangler Tj, where can I go to get it?

I think I got a 3.6 L 4 cylinder engine in my Wrangler, but I can't go above 65 and I'm gonna get a 4 inch lift and 33's (I got stock everything right now). I want to find this engine but I can't seem to find it. Also, I probably need to replace the spark plugs, wires, and do something with the exhaust, any advice?

check out quadratec.com they have replacement engines. they also have a 4.6L stroker that is more powerful than a replacement 4.0L. they also have spark plugs, wires, and exhausts. You might have to do some modifications under the hood but it shouldnt be too difficult if you are mechanically inclined. since you say everything is stock, you have either a 2.5L or a 2.4L enigne in your jeep. not 3.6L.

DOHC 4 cylinder engine Video - Part 1



Would a cherry bomb or something like that sound good on my 1995 Jeep grand Cherokee. Its a 6 Cylinder engine.

I need a way to make it have more noise when it accelerates. But couple of people told me putting like a cherry bomb on a 6 cylinder engine will just sound like crap.

It doesn't sound good on anything else so i doubt it will on your Jeep.
