need to replace engine mounts and have a question?

my mechanic figured that i need 2 engine mounts front and rear for my 01 maxima automatic. there are total of 4 mounts in my car. front, rear, side these 3 are the engine mounts and one is for transmission on left side. my car is driven 133000k so should i go ahead and replace all 3 mounts and wait on the tranny mount for another year or months? currently its my engine that vibrates and lifts up when i take off to drive. my mechanic suggest me to just replace 2 engine mounts and leave the side engine mount for later?
and for how long can i drive safely with bad engine mounts?

Do it all at once, and as far as how long the bad ones last is depends on how bad they are and how you drive and where you drive, bumpy roads will put pressure on the mounts, along with gunning the engine.Get this done as soon as possible to avoid further damage.

What is the correct procedure to allign transmission to propeller shaft after changing engine mounts?

The engine in question is a Yanmar 2GM.

You will have to adjust the mounts keeping the couplings centered with each other and no more than 3 thousanths of an inch clearance at any point between the coupling. Very tedious but well worth the effort as far as vibration and wear.
