Why does the hour meter on my boat click every 3 seconds?

It never used to do that and it's really annoying

Mine clicks - but it's very quiet. Take it to a dealer - the unit itself may be faulty. It is your service interval guide and also a guide to potential future buyers of the use of your boat. If I see a newish hour meter on a boat I will ask some pretty straight questions, and I'll expect straight and truthful answers - if you swap out the hour meter keep the old one so you can prove the hours on the engine. Or expect people to seriously discount their offers. If you plan never to sell your boat then by all means get rid of the hour meter - but you are still going to have to keep track of usage somehow.

Is the miles/hour meter on a stationary bicycle accurate ?

I think that will depends on the model and the company you buy from, but generally yes. And the stationary bicycle is the best exercise you can get, lose 500 calories an hour and increases your metabolism meaning you are losing weight even when you are not exercising. The benefits of a stationary bicycle is you can cycle in the privacy of your home and still the same benefits or pretty close to the benefits of a moving one and the chance of an accident is close to zero
