Radio Mount

I am interested in adding a sirius radio to my motorcycle. where do I mount the antenna?

Looking at the sirius S50, but not committed to it.

Most bikes that come with factory radios run the antenna(s) alongside the top box or attached to the luggage rack. You could also mount an antenna base to your windshield mounting brackets and run the antenna up the inside of the windshield. All you really need is a flat bracket bolted to a grounded piece of the frame.

Willy-um... Don't be so quick to judge. Even your precious Harley-Davidson company builds motorcycles with factory installed radios.

Where to mount my CB radio?

I have a 2001 f-150 extended cab model truck.
and i was wanting to install a cb radio..
but im not sure where i would mount the radio itself..
any help would be nice.

well I cant find a good interior picture of your truck really it depends on what radio you want to install and how big it is . Look for places in and around the truck little cubbies do u have any cubbies above on the over head compartments or anywhere. Sit in the drivers seat and look around. do u have any space under the dash at a good easy reached space. do u have a cup holder on the edge of your seat under the center of the seat.
I have a 06 silverado reg cab and i have a set of cup holders just in front of the center of the bench seat and I attached it there. that was when i was single now I have a girlfriend and a child and they are constently hitting them selves on it so keep in mind the future when u are looking at location. You want it to be in a easy access location so it can be easily removed and you can still see it to change channels while going down the road and within easy reach of the mic and close enough so u dont need a 6 foot cord for your mic. Now if u get a smaller radio they will fit pretty much any where. I drove truck for 2 years so i Have a big ass uniden 78 elite that is huge so it wasnt easy to mount. but really just look around a bit and if u have any buddies that have them in there truck look around on truck forums and such and search cb mount locations there are many sites out there Im a chevy driver so I watch the forums over at chevytruckworld. Find a ford forum and search cb mount location there should be someone that had the same question as you at one time or another. hope i helped.
