Corsair Films

How are women portrayed in early gangster movies?
The films I am thinking of include Corsair, Little Caesar, Ladies Love Brutes, Bonnie and Clyde, The Sopranos, American Me, Scarface, both the 80s version and the 1930s version.
Bimbos with little sense of self-worth and 'daddy' issues. That's how scumb@gs like Rico and Tony get them.

Blackhawk Films - F4U Corsair vs F-86 at Edwards
Hey I just watched Fly boys, UGH, so, what are the top 5 Aviation films of all time?
What are the top five aviation movies? My criteria; the aircraft used are (look) believable for the time period of the movie. The flight scenes look real, the movie has a decent story line. oh, and a lack of crappy plot lines, that lend nothing to the movie, and distract from the most important parts i. e. cool air-to-air shots of the aircraft!
Here are my top five;
1. Rudy, has nothing to do with flying, and everything to do with Notre Dame
2. Flying Leathernecks, great actual combat footage, decent story, F6F hellcat and F4U corsair air-to-air footage (oh and MARINE pilots! Semper Fi!)
3. Memphis Belle,B-17's, P-51's, Me-109, Combat footage, excellent Aerial footage,decent story, ok acting.
4. Battle of Britian, forget the story and acting, Spitfires! Hurricanes!, He-111's, Me-109' s(although the German A/C were actually Spanish)
5. The Blue Max, George Peppard at his most evil, GREAT air to air action, with actual period replicas!
Did I mention Rudy
The Blue Max
The great Waldo Pepper
State of Division. Remember the Nazi tank chasing the Warhawk across the African desert.
Birds of Prey, The movie with the radio helicopter guy chasing the bank robbers in their own helicopter?
And ofcourse, Those Magnificent Men and Their Flying Machines
