What are some indicators during the course of a suicide investigation?

that would shift the focus to a possible homicide

Did the victim have the ability to commit the act? (a paralyzed person can;t shoot themselves, right?) Was the weapon found where it would have likely been in the victim's possession? (was the gun down the hall 20 feet from the body?) Did the victim have a psychological inclination to suicide? was the victim in a room (house, car etc) that no one else had access to? Suicide doesn't always happen to sad people. Sometimes, when depressed folks decide to end it all, they seem to brighten up and get cheery in the days before their suicide. Sometimes kids commit suicide to "punish' parents of boyfriends (yes - that's not logical, but neither is suicide).

Family members tend to go into denial over suicides, and would rather imagine that its a homicide or accident. That is natural. But good Homicide detectives can generally tell fairly early on which way the case will go.

By the way, most murders 'staged' to look like suicides are really poorly done, and usually pretty obvious to veteran cops.

Do You Think The Democrats Had A Hand In The Death of Bhutto?

Of course all we can go on is their symphonic views of terrorists but the way that all of the democratic candidates for president were so cheerful today seems like a good indicator that they had some kind of hand in the death of Bhutto. Would anyone really be suprised if Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama had something to do with this?

Her death would do more to further the Republican's agenda than the Democrat's agenda.

So if it were anyone it would be the fear-mongering Bush party!

However, I think it's actually the nutjobs in Pakistan who did this.
