Cuff Links
How Can I make Hole for my Cuff Links?
I bought a button down long sleeve that has the two button. How Can I make hole there so i can put in my Cufflinks?

I know, there Called French Cip. But the Store I went too didnt have them. So I just bought the regular long sleeve and maybe make a hole with it.
You really can't make true French Cuffs out of a regular long sleeved shirt because French Cuffs not only have 2 button holes on each cuff, the cuff itself actually folds back on itself. I guess you could fake it by removing the button and making a second button hole in the cuff ( you finish off the new button hole by using a sewing machine with a button hole attachment or by hand doing a button-hole stitch around the opening you cut.)

The Cuff Links - Tracy
I have a normal shirt with buttons and it doesn't have holes for cuff links. Do I have to buy a new shirt?
Is there actually a way to make holes on the shirt?
My every sleeve has 4 buttons, and I've been thinking about removing one button from each sleeve and make two holes, but scared to mess it up.
The issue is that with French cuffs (for use with cuff-links) the sleeve is extra long because you fold the shirt back one fold before putting in the cuff-links.
If you did want to try, I would remove all the buttons from the sleeve, because otherwise it would be easy to tell that the shirt isn't made for cuff links.
IMO, I'd just go to a men's clothiers and get some shirts with French cuffs. They will never go out of style.
