Exhaust Set
What is the best way to set up my exhaust if I dont like the way it sounds, but using the same set up?
I have a set of headers and dual 40 series flowmasters on my 1970 el camino. I dont like the way it sounds though. The motor is a stock 350 and im about to put a mild Comp Cam in it. How should I set up the exhaust? I dont want it to be further than the front of the rear wheels.
Replace the "low rider" tinny sounding 40 Flowmasters with some decent sounding mufflers.

what is a good exhaust set up that is not pricey?
Don't go cheap on your exhaust. Its what the car sounds like and it you don;t spend the money on a good system you might get a crap sound and then have to repay to get a better one when you should have done it in the first place.
