Gauge Indicator

1987 Cutlass, the fuel gauge needle is stuck on the full indicator. How can i fix it?

I checked the fuses, and they are fine. The ground wire under the gas tank is fine too. Should i take out the dash board to manually fix it?

There is a procedure to follow at the connection by the tank that will confirm if the gauge is working properly. My cousin bought a 1990 Cutless that was parked for a long period and his was stuck in the upper area as well, the gauge was good so I dropped his tank to get at the sending unit in the tank. It was quite easy as nothing was in the way of the tank. All we had to do was work the sending unit up and down a few times and it freed up. Because it was motionless for so long it started to seize up. He drives regularly and it's been 2 years and it still working.
I wish I could remember the procedure, it was either disconnecting the harness and gauge would swing all the way one way or jumping a wire across 2 of the terminals, maybe go to a library and take a look at a manual for your model. It was quite easy to check the gauge this way, easier then taking a dash apart.

Would a 2008 Hayabusa Gauge cluster work for 2007 and earlier Hayabusa models?

I really like the gauge cluster of the new 08-09 model Hayabusa, vs the 07 and older cluster; so does anyone know if you can get a 08 cluster and put it on an 07 Busa? If so, is it possible to get the gear indicator to work on it as well? And last but not least if anyone knows a website where I would find this information, I would greatly appreciate it!! Thanks!

Unfortunately no, it won't work. The electronics on the '07 and later models were change in the switch to the '08+ models. You would have to purchase a new or used '07 or later gauge cluster for your model.
