Horizon Indicator Does a Airtificial Horizon Indicator have to be vented?
Does a Airtificial Horizon Indicator have to be vented. Is there supposed to be cap over a hole labeled gauge? What is the installation of an Atiitude Indicator?
If it's a vacuum-powered gyro, there are typically three ports. The vacuum source is connected to what is essentially the outlet port. Since the gyro is powered by the flow of air through the instrument, there needs to be an inlet port as well. This may be the vent you're referring to. There needs to be a filter on that side, because that's where the air enters. The third port, the one labeled gauge, is for a connection to a vacuum pressure gauge. If the gauge is not connected to this instrument, then this port is typically plugged.
This is all general information. None of it can substitute for manuals on the specific units you're working on. (And, it's not intended to do so.)
An attitude indicator (AI), also known as gyro horizon or artificial horizon, is an instrument used in an aircraft to inform the pilot of the orientation of the aircraft relative to earth. It indicates pitch (fore and aft tilt) and bank or roll (side to side tilt) and is a primary instrument for flight in instrument meteorological conditions. Attitude indicators also have significant application under visual flight rules, though some light aircraft do not have them installed. High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The horizontal situation indicator is an aircraft instrument normally mounted below the artificial horizon in place of a conventional directional gyro. It combines both the DG and the Course Deviation Indicator display, reducing pilot workload by lessening the number of elements in the pilots instrument scan. The HSI instrument also includes a glide slope needle so that an ILS instrument approach can be flown with reference only to the six basic flight instruments. Among other advantages, the HSI offers freedom from the confusion of reverse sensing. This is not the case when on a localizer back course. The back course outbound bearing must be set to prevent reverse sensing. stock markets are now over heated.what is the short term horizon of the indian stock markets?
now sensex is on all time high, for investors it is very difficult to get value picks.the inflation scenerio is still volatile and intrest rate concern is still there.the macro economics indicators are strong for long term, but global situation like american economy slow down and appreciation of rupee, climbing oil prices and dangerous unstable situation in middle east could meltdown the market prospect in near future.these are my fears.if anybody has some positive prospect please tell me in detail.
BRIC markets (Brazil, Russia, India, and China) all pose significant growth opportunities for both the near-term and beyond. Only Shanghai has experienced the severe downward volatility on occasion that has been induced by heavy selling.
In order to find good value picks on the Sensex you must find stock P/E's that are less than the average P/E of the Sensex as a whole.
