How will the ride be if I install a lift kit on my Toyota FJ Cruiser?

On stock suspension it rides quite smoothly. Any coherent opinions are appreciated.
There are many different kits to use on the FJ. OME kits have a good ride and great handleing performance. Check out different toyota forums to see what others are using. OME seem to be the most popular. Many dont see any decrease in ride or stablility.

if i take my car to a place to get a body kit install on it would they take pieces and exchange them with old?
.. i am asking because my car is brand new and well i dont want the mechanics changing some pieces of my car with used ones or something like that. do they do that? can i stay there and watch them install the body kit on my car ? what can i do to make sure they dont do anything like that?
If you take the vehicle to a dealership to have this done, the trim/electrical tech would be the one doing it. I am a trim/electrical dealership technician. I do not have extra "old" body pieces laying around. You pay me to do a job and give me the right parts, I will do exactly what you pay for. If I did something that fits your concerns, I would not have a job very long. I am not sure, but I do not believe there is a huge market for stolen body pieces for technicians. Honest technicians watch for dishonest technicians because a dishonest tech hurts customers. If that disgruntled customer does not come back, I will not be able to help or get payed by that customer. I am one of four veteran techs left at my shop, and I can tell you, WE would not let that happen to you. Take your vehicle to a reputable place w/ reputable techs. Do your research and call around. You should get exactly what you are paying for. There are dishonest techs out there, but we are trying to weed them out for you and for us. Sorry for the rambling. I HATE half-ass technicians.
