I heard St Johns River in FLA is only river in NA that flows north? True or false? If true, why?

False. The Shenandoah River (Virginia) also flows North. There are likely more.

fishing on the st johns river near astor fl?

i am going fishing in st johns river at astor fl. i have looked at pictures of the river on the web and a few maps but i can't really see what the river looks like so i could have some kind of clue where to hit the river when i first get there. anyone got any suggestions. is there any islands in the river i could fish around or inlets that i should follow off the main river...y suggestions would be helpful. i have a few months before i go or does anyone have a map of the river that they might want to get rid of. any suggestions would be apprechiated

I could not find a specific map for you but this google map will list all the businesses on St. Johns River, as well as a good river. Call them up and ask them for more information!
