Rotax 912

Engine oil for Rotax 912 or 914?

Hi, somebody could tell me what kind of engine oil, antifreeze/coolant and spark plugs uses the rotax 912 and 914 engines??? I think that uses motorcycle spark plugs from NGK model DCPR8E or Bosch equivalent but autolite make that for less. The other one is Denso.

Oil: Ether motorcycle oil with gear additives, or blended aircraft engine oil - API SG or higher

Coolant: Conventional (mix ratio 50:50) or water-free

Spark plugs:
912 - 16mm (NGK DCPR7E or NGK DCPR8E depending on the specific model)
914 - 12mm (NipponDenso X27EPR-U9)

Are ROTAX 912 aircraft engines for LSA safe ?

Does Laycoming or Continental make engines for ultralight aircraft LSA ? I want a really safe engine for a LSA ...

Nothing at all wrong with Rotax engines if they're maintained properly. Many LSA's use Continental or Lycoming engines. All of these engines would be too heavy for a true ultralight.
