BIN File types for movies?

ok I have a movie that is a BIN File type and there is no .CUE file with it. When i use Daemon tools Version 4.08 it brings up a few files: VCD, MPEGAV, SEGMENT, and EXT. i dont know what to do from there. Please help me.

.BIN files are just ISO type. I suggest using a tool such as WinISO at: http://www.winiso.com/

but you cannot open BIN files with daemon. u will need to burn the iso to DVD and then u will be able to play the movie

Why is it that my brand new Ext HDD has some used space in it?

Ok, I'm a noob >_< here's my question:

I recently bought a brand new Maxtor Basics Portable Storage with 80gb capacity.

Now I do understand that most nonvolatile storage media has some space used in them with no sign of any files or applications using up that space, but my question is why my new HDD lacks 6gb worth of free space when it states [whenever I right-click > properties the drive in My Computer] that its using up only 65mb worth of disk space]?

I tried formatting the drive [right click, format, not a quick format though], partitioned it [Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management], but still turned out that both drives [I only made one partition] had 37.2+gb of free space, making the total, still, 74gb out of 80gb.

Can someone enlighten me coz I think I'm missing something?
BTW, the Ext HDD's File System is NTFS.

this is normal dont worry, in order for the drive to work correctly it needs to associate with whatever operating system you are using (windows etc.) lets just say you have windows right now. windows needs to put necessary files into that hard drive in order for it to work correctly. you cannot delete these files or the hard drive would not link to the operating systems. this will happen on every single hard drive you install dont worry its normal. :)
