What if Demar Derozan and Eric Gordon cant participate in the Slam dunk In contest because of injuries?

Would there have to be two other players to participate in the Dunk In Contest?

What do you think would happen to the real Slam Dunk Contest?

Good question as Eric Gordon just hurt his big toe.

I guess NBA will assign someone to replace Gordon and keep the qualifier going, and the same applies to DeMar DeRozan.

I hope Rudy Fernandez will get the second chance to dunk should Gordon or DeRozan be forced to quit the contest.
