who makes aviation ils, glide slope and localizers and vor, ndb transmitter for airports?

I seem to remember a tech referring to Aeroflex as the manufacturer of the ILS equipment @ JNX

In Flight Simulator 2004 how can I get the ILS to work Properly?

When i create a flight and have flown all the proper paths and verything the ATC says - "decend to 2500 and maintain heading 350 untill established on the localizer."

Do i need to tune into the localiser of something becasue nothing seems to happen and the heading they set me on takes me miles away from the airport.

In the training missions Rod talks about how he has tuned into the ILS but i cant figure out how do this and the complex guides only talk about VOR.

The ILS/tone can be picked up from approx 22nm away. You need to set the ILS frequency in the VOR/ILS section on the communications panel. Also, set the Runway Course to help you land. The heading they give you will just make you intercept the runway heading, you need to then self position yourself on the ILS. You can set LOC, to establish you on the runway heading, you click LOC and then set Autopilot CMD.
