What Is Wrong With The Radio In My 92 Jeep Cherokee?

I have A 92 Jeep Cherokee With The Original Radio In It. It Was Working Fine And Then All Of A Sudden It Quit And MTL With An Arrow Came Up On It.What Could This Be

This is one time I'll recommend to go to Crutchfield and order a stereo. They do send you instructions and adapters to do it yourself.

What does MTL mean on your 15 yr old factory stereo?

1.My GUESS is you have a cassette stereo and it had a MTL button or it has an auto MTL cassette select. This was a cassette tape option way back in the day. It would cut down on tape hiss....kinda like the Dolby button.

2.Your cassette may be stuck in the forward direction(arrow up).

Like I said this is a 15 year old stereo. Its not worth fixing.

I don't listen to him to much but some of his lyrics show a lot of ignorance about what he's talking about. examples

Indian Outlaw- most indians didn't mix tribes, so being a mix of Cherokee and Choctaw (southeastern tribes) and in a relationship with a Chippewa (midwestern) is very unlikely. also he has two different types of houses, a wigwam and a tepee. the use of an arrow and hickory bow is unlikely because most indians were quick to adapt to guns.
