Where can I get free visual aids for my speech presentation?

I'm a member of toastmasters (toastmasters dot org), and I'm looking for visual props so that I can complete "manual speech #8." I'm super poor, and therefore I can't afford anything fancy like a laptop and such. Any advice?

Well, there's always the felt pen and giant pad of paper on an easel. It still works....
Not sure what 'manual speech #8' is, but if your speech is related to any particular topic, that might tie in with an organization (although this might smack of sponsorship) that group might be able to loan you a few visual aids.
Just a word of caution, though. Too many visual aids can really destroy a speech. You are, after all, working to an audience -- and the word comes from 'audio', which means sound. They want to hear what you are saying, not watch visual tricks.

Is there a Visual Basic Instruction manual online?

I am trying to teach myself Microsoft Visual Basic. I have been looking at the 'Microsoft Developer Network' but is is clunky, non-user friendly, and does not seem to be able to tell me everything that VB can do. Is there anywhere online that gives a concise, complete explination of how VB works and all the syntax involved?
