Oil Extractor: How to use?
I received an oil extractor for Christmas which uses a pump to suck out the old oil from the dipstick of my car. Finally having the time to change my oil I tried the product to which when I put the tube in the dipstick it did not bring out any oil. Of course by the time I tried it out the warranty had already worn out. I tried to push the tube down further but it seemed like something was blocking it from going further. Is there something I’m doing wrong here? I have a 1998 Ford Mustang 3.8L but the pump is supposed to be used for any car. Could I just go through the oil cap instead of the dipstick? Any help will be greatly appreciated…
that system uses different sizes for going thru dipstick tubes. check the dipstick against the tube//see if the tube is longer/shorter and or if the the stick hits and slips in pan to get to sump. i have used thes and you can get 99% of the oil out. also excellant for trans fluid replacement/power steering replacement//try twisting the tube with gentle and or intermittant pressure to get by shelf

I wouldn't recommend it. It can cause scarring. Just use products on your face that treat/prevent acne and/or blackheads. It should help, and you don't run the risk of scarring your skin permanently.
