Why does Splinter Cell Conviction on PC run like absolute s**t!?
My system is:
ATI Radeon 5770
2GB DDR2 RAM
AMD Athlon X4 620 Quad Core 2.6ghz
I know my RAM sucks but this game runs like crap. Hell, Crysis is easier to run and this game uses the Unreal 2.5 engine!! Deniable Ops runs well in some parts and runs like shit in others. Campaign is just hard to watch sometimes, as it lags horribly. I run the game maxed out with 8AA and 16AF at 1600x900. This game should be running smooth. The recommended specs say to have 2GB RAM and a 8800GT, so I don't know what they were smoking when they recommended that. Also, it is not my ATI drivers, I am running a 10.5 beta right now so I'm okay with drivers. Will Ubisoft man up and make an update to optimize their crappy port from console? Or will ATI every release a driver to make it run smoother?
You need to turn AA to either 2x or off. If you want to run the newest games with full AA you'll need a crossfire setup

Questions about international operations?
Ok all you world travelers, here's your chance.
Given that with the proper documentation and equipment, a pilot with an FAA pilot cert (PVT or CPL) flying an N registered single engine fixed wing aircraft can fly internationally to ICAO member countries Canada, Mexico, Bahamas, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Belize etc. What regulations are in play while operating internationally?
I have been told by an international CFI that if an N registered aircraft requires maintenance while out of the country then the mechanic needs to hold a US A&P/IA. Another example is Belize only requires 200 hours and a Belizean CPL to fly for hire while the US requires a CPL and 1200 hrs for part 135 ops and a 135 cert. If you fly a US plane in Belize airspace, which rule is applicable? I'm sure there are more examples. Where do you go to research this?

All N reg. aircraft are subject to FAA regs. Regardless of location. When operated internationally ICAO standards also apply and where applicable the foreign countries regs also apply.
All regs must be obeyed and in the case of overlap the most restrictive reg. must be followed.
Therefore in the example you give the Pilot must obey the FAA regs. in this case as they are more restrictive than the Belizean regs. In no case may a less restrictive reg. of one authority be followed in order to circumvent a more restrictive reg. of another.
I am a pilot not a mechanic so I am not certain about your maintenance question. I am sure however similar rules apply.
