Hi How can I build a 45 amp power supply to power a linear amp out of computer power supplys
It's difficult to modify an existing supply to supply different voltages and currents. In many cases impossible.
First find out what you need, volts and amps. Is it really 45 amps? At what voltage? Then look at what the computer supply puts out. Probably 5 volts at 10 amps or so. Are they the same or close?
The existing current can be higher, and if the voltage is too high, you may be able to reduce it with an added regulator.
If not, you need to buy/build a new supply.

Is it safe to use a 14.5 v power supply instead of the original 16 v power supply on my xbox 360 elite?
I have an xbox 360 elite and it came with the original power supply of 16 volts. Then that power supply broke, and I got a newer version of the xbox 360 power supply which is 14.5 volts or 14 volts. Is it safe to keep it running like this?
NO! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU THINKING.
You have to use the one that came with your Xbox.
It needs 16Volts any thing over or under will fry your Xbox.
Only use the 14 Volt as a temporary fix, or you will ruin your xbox. This is not a joke
