Snow flies all around me, like my own personal atmosphere
I’m in a world of cold, white bliss
I coast up the jump, pop, and I’m soaring on pure air
Twist, grab my board, and I’m on the powdery earth in a matter of seconds
Gliding down the mountain, carving back and forth, heel, toe, heel, toe…
Every inch of the slope is hardwired to my memory, forever etched in my mind, never fading
The motions, every ollie, every 180, every carve… Every plow, every butter…
Every last one is embedded in my bones, so deep it’s impossible to forget
Never hesitating determination fills my body
Unfaltering passion fires my determination
My heart pounds when I see those slopes
Leaps when I ollie onto a rail
Gets lighter every time I slide off the chairlift
I could never leave this life
The slopes is all I need

Skiing down the slopes
I see mountain ranges far ahead.
Purely covered valleys gleam into my eyes.
As I ride down, white scenery flashes by.

Turn after turn, strive after strive,
The swooshing sounds of the wind increase as I gain speed,
People, trees and skis are soaring straight behind.
Suddenly, I fall and all becomes a hush

Lying there face first in the snow,
I begin to smell the pureness of the air.
The fresh, mountain air cools my body down.
Unexpectedly I shiver, and know its time to move

As I ski, I see valleys right beside me.
They are arranged in glazing patterns.
Big, small, big, small
I am amazed by nature’s beauty.

Finally, I reach the very end
And I’m ready to go to the very top
I begin to see Mont Blanc.
The highest of the high of France,
The king of its peasants
Stood there proudly, calling for me.
