RC trainer plane crashed three times! Inverted ailerons!
I work for a major corp. I travel a lot by my car and plane what can i claim?
It is a oncology managment service company. I am a software trainer for them. I travel locally from one coast of florida to the other using my own vechicle and also I travel out of state using the companies credit card. I also do service calls on the side not related to my 9-5 repairing computers. however I have little to no record of it this year. but in total probally made about 1.5 to 3k on the side. what should I claim?
Assuming that your employer reimburses you for your travel costs using an accountable plan -- and most companies do just that -- your travel expenses are a wash as long as they use the IRS mileage rate -- 48.5¢ per mile for 007. No reporting is required. If they use a different mileage rate you may have a deductible unreimbursed expense. If it's more you may have reportable taxable income.
If you have any unreimbursed expenses you may claim them on Form 2106. That flows to Schedule A as a Miscellaneous deduction, subject to a 2% AGI floor. If you don't itemize, they're worthless to you.
The side income is reported on Schedule C or C-EZ. If it exceeds $400 net profit in any tax year you must pay self-employment taxes on it as well. Attach Schedule SE to calculate the SE taxes.

The rouge and greedy West has been badly caught in Afghan trap. They desperately need some help to cope with deadly attacks by increasingly aggressive Afghan freedom fighters. The time has passed when the occupation forces used to chase the rag tag fighters of Afghan resistance. Now Taliban are mounting increasingly brazen attacks on garrisons and bases of the occupation forces in Afghanistan and inflicting heavy losses on the enemy. It is just a matter of time when the Afghan resistance will be able to neutralize the air superiority of the foreign occupation forces. Insane Westerners find all the blame in Pakistan. These self-deceptive hypocrites do not really understand a basic geostrategic reality that regional powers, including China and Russia, would never allow the Western forces get complete control of Afghanistan. Don’t the Chinese know that occupation of Afghanistan was a brazen attempt by the West to surround China and contain the rapidly emerging influence of awakening dragon? Don’t the Russian remember that they were trapped in Afghanistan and finally knocked down in the Afghan war theater? That fatal blow finally dissolved the erstwhile USSR. How then Chinese and Russians would welcome their adversaries into Afghanistan, which is an extremely strategic location that holds the future of the whole Central Asia and the sub-continent? In such a backdrop, Westerns are unrealistically expecting full support from Pakistan in crushing the Afghan resistance when other more crucial players are also active against the foreign occupation forces in the Afghan war theater. It is quite ovious that Americans are desperately trying arm-twist tactics against Pakistan and British PM, as usual, may be doing the dirty work on behalf of his American masters. Given the track record of these Westerns ganging up against a third country in the past, there must be a link between the dump of secret docs at Wikileaks and Cameron’s silly behavior in New Delhi. One, however, should not ignore another factor in the mud-slugging business of immature David Cameron. In his first visit to India, he was rather desperate in securing a deal for the sale of 57 Hawk trainer planes to India. The deal is worth more than a billion dollars. The British delegation tried desperately to finalize the deal but the Indians were not ready for that. The visiting delegation was able to finally sign a symbolic one-page agreement only after Indians put their words in Cameron’s mouth and kicked his ass to emit those words aloud. The silly chap obeyed the commands just like a pet dog and later kept insisting on his disgraced statement. We all new that these Britishers can do any and every thing for money but this Cameron dude has demonstrated to really prove that.
