Turbine Helicopter Engine

In aircraft gas turbine engine, what is "duty cycle"? and that advantage?

In FAA paper test, I fined out one question. My job is helicopter technician.

the "duty cycle" of a turbine engine should be referring to the starter motor. in the handbook it should indicate that if the engine does not light for whatever reason that another start sequence may be initiated but that after a certain amount of time the motor may not be used and allowed to cool down. example: after two attempts of 30 seconds each, you may not attempt another for 15 minutes to allow a cool down. the reason for this is as the motor is trying to start the engine it generates a tremendous amount of heat and should it get too hot it can fail or even worse seize up the drives and cause the turbine to bind up.

Good question, for me I'd say the turbo and air brakes on a tractor-trailer truck, a fire truck's horn, pretty much all the noises a train makes, Fear Factory's drum kit, the trumpeting of an elephant, the screech of a hawk, thunder, and I agree with your #'s 2,3,6 &7.
