i want to be able to play games like killing floor on highest settings but not games like fsx necessarily on highest.

What are the *better* brands of dog food available in Australia?

I'm living in a small town in rural New South Wales, Australia. Before getting my dogs I did a huge amount of research regarding what food to feed them. Because of my location however, I don't have the biggest range to choose from. I've settled on Supercoat and V.I.P. as they seem to be the most natural and realistic diets available here.

The vet and pet shop here (yep there are only one of each!) both stock IAMS, Science Diet and Eukanuba, but they full of artificial rubbish that I refuse to feed my dog. The supermarkets stock Pedegree (yuck), the Purina range (a tiny bit better, but still pretty yuck), Chum (horrible), Supercoat and V.I.P. (my current choice).

So I've settled on feeding Supercoat (a dry food) and a little bit of VIP (a fresh meat based raw food), with a raw supplement like liver, kidney or heart every now and then.

What do you think? Can I do better?

Most of grocery store dog food formulas, like IAMS, Pedigree, Science Diet, Purina,and etc contain "meat and bone meal" which has been known to contain dead dogs and cats that were euthanized in animal shelters. Their bodies are picked up and bought by the truck load by "rendering plants" , that also pick up road kill, dead live stock, and etc. They are shredded, and boiled. They skim off the fat on the top of the "soup" and collected it and sell it to pet food companies as "animal fat", the rest of the animals' remains are crushed up, dried and sold to dog and cat food companies as meat and bone meal.
