Well, I wanted to know how people record with like a professional mic, but with out not hooked into the camera. Because I have a sperate camera and video, how would I get it in sync? (I have a mac btw)

I'm sure there is a way to do it with some mac video editing software. I use acoustica mp3 audio mixer to record audio from my studio mic and then in sony movie studio 10 hd platinum i simply import my video, mute the original audio from the video. then import the studio mic quality audio file and trim it down and adjust it so that it is synced up with the video. here is an example, its silly but its just to show you, the camera is far away and wouldn't be able to capture the audio at this quality. the audio is added after in the program. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-UL6tfGl14
