Fittings Kit

car question....?

I have a 1997 chrysler sebring. My radio, trunk opener, and interior lights wont work. I bought a new radio with the correct fittings and wiring kit for this make and model of car. My new radio wont work either. We have checked fuses. Its not that. Im thinking I have a wiring problem or someone metioned "modules" that go out sometimes. If anyone out there has any ideas, could you please pass them along? Thanks very much !!
I recently bought the car (used) The guy I got the car from said he thought it was a fuse. Like I said, we checked that out and that doesnt seem to be the problem. The car had the origional radio in it and it didnt work. After checking the fuses I assumed maybe it was just the radio gone bad causing the fuse to go bad. Thats when I got the new radio but that wasnt the answer.

I don't have a wiring diagram for that model, but it looks like you have a ground wire that is not connected. good luck

Modelling lamp bulbs, help?

I have the Proline 300/300 kit and within days of starting using it both the modelling lamp bulbs died. I'm gonna call the people I bought the kit from and ask them to replace them but is there anything else I can use for now? Would a regular 50W bulb with the same fittings work?

Check the instructions for the lights. It should specify someplace what the modeling lamps are. Best to replace them with ones made to spec.
