Radio Frequency Unit I found a very old mignon radio/turntable?
Hi,
I was cleaning out my grandmas garage, and found a very old radio and turntable unit. It was my grandads, but unfortunately he's dead, and no-one knows where the radio came from.
It has no real markings, except for the brand mignon, and the numbers 14229.
It's fairly large, 60cm long, 40cm deep and about 30cm high, made possibly of a walnut veneer.
The radio is on the front face, with a square speaker grill on the left, and the fadio frequencies diplayed on the right. The radio farequencies are seperated by states (australian) I don't know what thats about.
The top of the unit can be lifted to reveal a turntable underneath. This turntable looks like it has been replaced at some point, but i assume there was an origional there at some stage.
Does anyone have any idea where i can find information on this radio, or one similar?
