er i thought i got this right but nope...help..?

so..here's the questions..:((

Q: A model aircraft has a scale 1:25. If the length of the model is 40cm and the area of the sheet metal required to cover the outside surface of the model is 300 cm^2, what is the actual length and surface area of the aircraft?

The real aircraft is 25 times bigger so.

40cm *25 = 1000cm

and

300cm^2 *25 *25 = 187500 cm^2

(Multiply by 25^2 because it is an area.)

Aircraft sheet metal mechanic?

How long does it take to get sheet metal mechanic certification

You don't need certification to do just sheet metal repairs, if you work in a shop supervised by a licensed airframe mechanic, or A&P. The licensed mechanic will inspect your work to insure it meets the standards for airworthiness, and then he will sign off the work order for you.
