Engine Driven Fuel

The engine in my vectra lost some power and has started shaking its drinking fuel any ideas?

while driving the engine power cut down and the engine itself has begun shaking incredible bad, before this happened the coolant light came up, i filled the coolant back up thinking maybe that was the cause but no joy, the car is realy underpowered at mo and drinking fuel, the temp goes higher than normal to when driving now, help!!!!!!!!!!!!

This could be several things. You may need a tune up or there is a problem in the emissions system such as a clogged catalytic converter or bad EGR valve.
Worst of all, it could be a blown head gasket.

"check engine light" and fuel-related trouble, what to do?

Been driving on low fuel for last two weeks. Two days ago, I start the car and "Check Engine" light goes on. Whenever I press the gas, it jerks while slowly picking up speed.

Yesterday, I filled the tank and used some STP gas treatment. Still same problem... Any recommendations before taking it in to the shop?

First time my car had any problem since I bought it new two years ago... Thanks for reading this

take your car to a local autozone store and have them scan your check engine and that will give you an idea of what the problem could be. it"s not good to run your car on low fuel it sucks up dirt into the fuel system and can cause your fuel pump to fail. i would also suggest to change your fuel filter.
