I read an article where we were advised to do nozzle flushing very often on turbine engines, I did not understand what it was and how it is done. or how different it was from nozzle cleaning.

You connect straight to the fuel line that connects to the nozzles and use compressed air to force a cleaning solution thru the nozzle

What does a buyer for a engine supplier (e.g. GE Aviation) buy?

As I know the components of an engine are fan, compressor, combustor, turbine, nozzle and a mixer. Do the buyers working for such company buy these?

Yes, but there is a bit more involved.

Buyers are responsible for contracting with suppliers on behalf of the company they work for. Retail buyers are part of the process involved when stores select merchandise for their shelves.

In industry, as in your example, a buyer would negotiate all aspects of purchasing the materials needed to manufacture their product.

That includes researching their potential suppliers, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies, negotiating cost/quality control/shipping/delivery. The buyer is then responsible to their own manager for making good decisions in these matters.
