How many computers can I plug into a UPS?

I know that uninterruptible power supplies come in different sizes. I am setting up a computer lab - is there a rule of thumb on how many computers I can plug into a UPS>

Hi there , the UPS connection is depend on the UPS model and kind of it . Usually , one UPS only can support one computer , and you must buy the correct one , there is many model and Volt different UPS out there , please refer to your local computer hardware store for more info on about UPS

Computer Power Supply Unit as Charger?

i found an article on the net about making my own Lab Power Supply..can i use it to charge a Sealed Lead Acid Battery? a 12v 7.2Ah SLA..

You can use it to charge a battery if the battery is rechargable, but if you over charge it, you will have problems. I would recommmned getting a charger that has a controller built in.
