Is this a good idea?

I cant wait to finish my private pilots certification and get into the air force in the Security Forces while going to school and getting into OCS to become a pilot, dont care what kind of pilot be it Fighter, Bomber, or transportation) want to get a degree in aviation and areonautical science

I just hope its a good idea... anyone know a good MOS that is exciting besides Security Forces in the air force that i can have to to also study and go to school after work?

also....if i am not able to complete those plans id at least like to try for Pararescue...what do you think? thanks everyone!!

I believe you are on the right track, but I would suggest it is time to think about what type of aircraft you want to fly, so you can start preparing now, and perhaps do some course work whilst still at school.

Ok well im doing a project and i choose to do it on airplanes because im starting to train for my private pilots license towards the end of august anyway
How many miles do you have to your name and on what planes?
How many emergency landings have you made?
Have any of your altimeters ever failed and how did you solve the problem and did it involve the distance over time=speed=miles/s or miles per minute=miles x conversion number=knots per minute/knots per second.

Sure.

I currently have a type rating for the B737NG and employed with a British airline company. Miles have not been logged - flying hours have instead.

I have made no emergency landings as PF or PNF (I assume you mean an actual aircraft and not in a simulator). I have also never been on an aircraft which has ever performed an emergency landing. The most interesting problem to arise on any aircraft I have been on is that the flight attendant gave me tea with no sugar in.

An altimeter failure is an instrument failure and the fact that the altimeter has an important role during flight, then an altimeter failure would be considered as a serious problem which may result in an imminent landing if possible. If there are multiple altimeters on board, or even a radio altimeter, then simply figuring out which altimeter has failed will be one solution. Figuring out which altimeter has failed may not be as simple as first thought because all on board altimeters may be showing false readings (due to a backend system error). The other solution would be estimating how high you are by using fixed elevation points (printed on charts) and your height above these points (e.g: you are above a mountain which is 7000ft, so you estimate that you're 1000ft above the mountain, thus making your altitude somewhere around 8000ft) but this would not be the wisest idea during IMC.

The equations you have listed do not involve height (altitude), so they would be absolutely useless in a failed altimeter scenario. Your equations cover distance, speed or time.
