Manuals Installation Operations

i have a innovatek 389 tv cd player. it wont come on. i used a wire harnest and connected the wires.?
Its a dvd, cd, tv tuner, and mp3 player. In the manual it says before installation make sure your car has a 12v dc negative operation. Can't i just connect the black wire from my wire harness to the black wire from my cd player and use that as 12v dc negative operation. My old cd player work on the wire harness why will this one not work. Help please
how do i set the brake do u mean pull the brake up...why would i have to do that for the innovatek 389tv dvd player to cut on. Do anybodty know where i can get the wires that go in back of the cd player from. And i have a pink wire on the wires in back of the cd player do i have to hook that up to something for the cd player to work. Thanks
Just about any metal surface of the chassis (paint removed) will be a ground connection.
The CD players ground connection already has a specific load associated with it, adding more of a load may cause overheating of the ground wire. It's best to just run another ground as close to the grounding location the CD player uses to prevent a ground-loop.

At the Drive-In - Operations Manual
How do I use the Pacbrake exhaust brake installed on my Dodge Ram 2500, auto tranny?
Do I leave the toggle switch turned on all the time, or just when I need to use the brake? I have another three position switch higher up on the dash, with a red LED in the up position, clear in the middle position, and green in the lower position. Is it related to the brake operation? What are the different positions? I have a truck that used to haul 5th wheel trailers, so maybe the switch is for the power to the trailer?? I have yet another toggle switch as well, off and on, I'm sure it is for the trailer.
Back to the Pac brake... is there a detailed driver's guide or manual online? The pacbrake website only covers installation, it says to see the Driver's guide but I can't find it. All help is appreciated, detail is king!!
On the automotive transmission you just want to have the switch on when your in an area that you plan to use it. basically you don't want it on on city streets unless you have your trailer on, snow, or rough weather conditions that may cause loss of traction. The transmission goes to full lock-up, and causes the transmission to hold gears longer. This can cause you to have a jerky ride around town. So no trailer or trailer in the mountains and long road (with the cruise control on) great idea to have it on--just remember that once you remove your foot off the throttle or touch the drake to cancel the cruise--your brake comes on. of course this all depends on what mode you are in.
As for the other switches--they could be for different options on your brake or if you have more than one fuel tank---you will have to trace out those wires or pay someone to do .
there is an on-line manual at Http://pacbrake.com/PDF/L5046.PDF
