what career should i choose in the Air national Guard?

I can not go active air force rigth now so i am going into the Vermont Air national guard. These are the jobs they have that i qualify for. I dont know what one would be better? If anyone has experience in one of the career fields please inform me on how you like it and if it gets you anywhere in the civilian world.

Fire protection - they said they might have an opening if the do then im definitely doing that.

special vehicle maintenance( i.e fire trucks)
aircraft structual maintenance
Heating, ventilation, AC, refrig (HVAC)
Aerospace ground equipment
Utilities systems
i also qualify for,

information management and aviation resource mgt. any thoughts on those?
and tactical aircraft maintenance

I worked F-16s for 19 years and spent 2 years as a First Sergeant for CES. Aircraft Structural is good but not much call for it on the civilian side. AGE (aeerospace ground equipment) doesn't translate too well either. I would go with HVAC or Utilities. The deal with HVAC is once you get all your certifications (paid for by the Air Force), you can start up your own civilian company fixing HVAC. I've known active duty Airmen that do this as a second job and make twice as much as the military pays them.
