As a student pilot in Air Force pilot training, can I swap services to fly with the Coast Guard?

I am currently being trained as a student pilot in the Air Force, but have discovered that the Air Force flying environment and mission may not be right for me. Is it possible to switch services to the Coast Guard during pilot training, such as a swap if a current Coast Guard pilot trainee wishes to fly with the Air Force?

Not without getting discharged from the Air Force, which would make your chances of being accepted by the Coast Guard very weak.

What is the minimum service time for officers in the Navy and/or Air Force?

I'm about to graduate from college and am going to join either the Navy or Air Force. However, I've recently discovered that the minimum active duty service time for pilots in the Air Force is 10 years. I want to serve my country but just cannot be active for that long. I'm sure it depends on the type of job but, does anyone know what the minimum service time in either branch is (as an officer)?

Some good info here but a little dated.
In the AF ALL commissions are now regular-there are no more reserve commissions.
Typically for USAF and USN, non-rated officers commitments are four years active, four years Individual Ready Reserve (IRR). IRR requires no drill/deployment commitment unless you're activated. The odds of that depends on your specialty-though since GW1, services will just retain you and not let you separate if you're in a critical position.
Flying the commitment is 10 yrs USAF, that's AFTER getting your wings which takes about 14months or so. 8 yrs in the USN, also after getting your wings.
ECO/CSO is 7 years for both services.
Don't let the Active Duty Service Commitments for training/school scare you off-they are run concurrently, NOT additively; also in many instances they are being waived. I had the AF pay for two Masters Degrees and those commitments ran concurrently with Air Command and Staff College. Essentially they would not have kept me in had I desired to leave.
Finally you can separate via two ways (not counting UCMJ action, or being washed out of training)
- Refuse promotion. In which case, you're out the door in 30 days.
- File for separation; typically takes six months ahead of your desired exit date.
