Do you need a Helicopter License to fly a Mosquito Ultralight Experimental Helicopter?

I have an opportunity to get a Mosquito Ultralight Experimental Helicopter already manufactured and am an engineering enthusiast who would love to capitalize on this opportunity.

I don't have a pilots license for aviation of any type but am willing to take flying lessons pertinent to Helicopter flight but need to know if I must complete the full course load averaging a total of $12,000 - $15,000 and much study time which I do not have.

It is only a single seater chopper and plan to use it only is wide open, completely non-populated areas in which I have access too (live near lots of farm land and know my neighboring farmers)

If anyone could shed some light on the requirements to legally flying an ultralight helicopter I would greatly appreciate.

As for me, there is no way I would fly one without training!

PS - are you really going to trust someone else that assembled the kit, you really must have faith that they knew what they were doing!
